1. RE: How easy do you find this site to navigate or contribute?

HiI'm looking to add comments, but its not obvious. Could you add a 'button' or something under neath the discussion pointers so people can add to it? Just intital thoughts, but I am going to keep looking This is only my second visit. I am interested in the discussion or concern raised about Church and wonder why sometimes we are so anxious (?) about creating church or defining it. Sometimes I recognise it just happens. Yet I also recognise Church has developed over time and the whole idea of 'tradition' and how things have - in whatever type or church -built up. I don't think trdition can be forgotten and perhaps any church / community automatically forms its traditions - even if sometimes they don't remember or know where they came from or realise the depth of the signficane for the group. This will always be the struggle to make what has emerged through time seem relevant to new generations (with a small g) of 'members'. I think this is relevant in the sacramental discussion and am challenged by the intnetion to always pin things and especially God down. Its good to document the epxerience in order toshare, but each one - community, group find their own centrepoint eventually. Jackie Pullinger in her work in China attempted to take 'young shoots' to an established Church and realised they were not ready for it, so they remained separate. Timing is key and I know you've asked those questions. I suppose that's where Flow will be guiding forward. Using the structure of the story of Abraham is awesome trusting in an unknown, yet knowing without doubt the unexplainable existed. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

basically whenever you start a thread on any page it get loctated here in the discussion forum as well, which means you can respond to page and we can reflect on the comments, know where they are and add them into the learning and page.to respond to the point about church, I guess for me the project is in part about making the growing church an intentional part of mission, and when wedo it gives more space to be creative along the journey. Do you find this valuable? |
